Really really excellent experience. Very helpful and friendly staff. Not overbearing at all. Let you get on with the day and trust you with their modern boats. My family and I had a blast and would highly recommend anyone whose on the fence to jump in and have a go.

Beautiful. Feels good watching canal boats moving. Kids loved many of the interesting shaped boats, especially the 'pirate' boat. For the technical minded kids (and adults), it's fun to watch opening bridges. Very beautiful walk along the canal with hills in the front.

Great place for a walk. Very flat, so good for all ages. Small shop with ice creams, and a cafe too.

I love it here. Staff so friendly and helpful. Although a bit expensive seams to be the same sort of price as others in the area. Would highly recommend mooring your boat here. Most boater pretty friendly

Lovely area for walking with places of interest. Very popular during the summer months. Lots of barges and boats. Cafe for refreshments and hot meals. Disable access available and toilets. Canal boat trips (book prior to your visit)
